Our story began long before we ever realized it. Through summer camp and shared childhood connections, our lives quietly overlapped year after year, always just one step away from meeting.

When we finally did, everything felt easy. Even with the distance between Charlotte and Richmond, the timing seemed to fall perfectly into place. Right as we started talking, there was already a trip home to Charlotte planned to visit family, and what was meant to be a simple weekend ended up turning into something so much more.

From where our story quietly began, to where we said yes, and now to where we will begin this next chapter, Carolina has always been woven into both of our lives. Looking back, it’s clear those places and people didn’t just shape who we are, but gently guided us to one another.
